Guns N’ Roses brought their Not In This Lifetime tour to FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland near Washington, D.C. on June 26.
Following the launch in Detroit on June 23, the second date on the group’s summer stadium tour of North America saw the reunited band perform at the home of the NFL's Washington Redskins.
The 25-song set included an instrumental take on the Derek And The Dominos classic “Layla” as a lead-in to “November Rain”, while the band dropped the “Use Your Illusion” tune “Don’t Cry” from the encore in place of the 1989 single “Patience.”
Prior to the show, Redskins owner Dan Snyder, head coach Jay Gruden and General Manager Scot McCloughan had a quick photo-op with Axl Rose backstage, which the team shared via their social media sites.
Guns N’ Roses will next perform at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO on June 29.
