Slash and Duff McKagan were on hand to watch Guns N’ Roses bandmate Axl Rose perform with AC/DC at The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, UK on June 4.
The pair arrived to see Rose’s 10th show on the European leg of the Rock Or Bust tour after he joined the lineup last month in place of Brian Johnson.
Slash tweeted: “ACDC/Axl gig at Olympic Stadium was nothing short of awesome last night! Memorable evening to say the least!”
McKagan posted an image from the sound board, calling the evening “simply an epic experience!”
Three shows remain on the spring run, which wraps up in Dusseldorf, Germany on June 15.
In three weeks, Rose will rejoin GNR for a summer stadium tour of North America that begins at Ford Field in Detroit, MI on June 23.
When the summer run ends, the singer will enjoy a 4-day break before regrouping with AC/DC for ten US dates that were rescheduled from spring after being postponed due to Johnson’s hearing loss issues.
AC/DC’s fall US shows start August 27 in Greensboro, NC.
