KISS announce Freedom To Rock tour
KISS have announced dates for the Freedom To Rock tour, which will see the band play 36 shows across the US this summer starting July 7 in Boise, ID.
The trek includes four cities the group have never played before and more than two dozen that they have missed on tours in the past decade.
KISS will be joined by American Idol Season 13 winner Caleb Johnson for dates between July 7 and August 10, while supergroup The Dead Daises will be on board for shows from August 10 to September 10.
A Kiss Army presale begins April 12; general public tickets for most dates will go on sales Friday, April 15.
Check www.kissonline.com for ticket details in each market.
Ahead of the summer shows, KISS were scheduled to perform at the inaugural Moonstone Music Festival in Orlando, FL at the end of the month, but the event has been postponed to the fall with a revamped lineup as organizers deal with a major crime issue.
“An ongoing investigation in now in process - by local law enforcement and the FBI - of cyber fraud involving a major Tampa, Florida bank and other local businesses,” announced organizers.
“At this time, we need to focus our efforts on this investigation,” says Moonstone founder Paul Lovett. “Because of this situation, we know our attention to the inaugural Moonstone might suffer and we want to ensure an amazing experience for everyone who attends the festival in September.”
The original 3-day lineup also included Def Leppard, Buckcherry, Sebastian Bach and more than two dozen other acts.
