Chris Cornell has announced the second North American leg of his Higher Truth World Tour.
The Soundgarden frontman will launch the run in support of his fourth solo record, 2015’s “Higher Truth”, in Clearwater, FL on June 16, with shows schedule to wrap up on July 27 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Fan club presales begin Monday March 7, while general public tickets will be available Friday, March 11 at 10AM ET – full details are available at chriscornell.com
One dollar from each ticket sold will support the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation, which is currently raising funds and partnering with charitable organizations to mobilize support for children facing problems including homelessness, poverty, abuse, and neglect.
Issued last fall, “Higher Truth” was recorded in Seattle with producer Brendan O’Brien.
The project peaked at No. 19 on the US Billboard 200.
It’s Cornell’s fourth solo album to date, following “Euphoria Morning” (1999), “Carry On” (2007), “Scream” (2009) and the acoustic live album, “Songbook” (2011), from his tour of the same name.
