Wolfmother are premiering a lyric video for the track “Pretty Peggy” as a preview to their forthcoming album “Victorious.”
Due February 19 and produced by Brendan O’Brien, the project sees sole original member vocalist/guitarist Andrew Stockdale record the band’s fourth record and follow-up to 2014’s “New Crown.”
“We wanted to get back to that big sound,” says Stockdale. “The album is a balance of garage-y energy and big production. It’s wild, energetic and perfect for a festival main stage.”
“Pretty Peggy” is the fourth tune issued ahead of the album’s release, following “City Lights”, the title track and “Gypsy Caravan” – all available as instant downloads with pre-orders of “Victorious.”
The band will launch the album with a North American tour starting February 24 in Minneapolis, MN.
Joining Stockdale in Wolfmother’s touring lineup are bassist Ian Peres and drummer Vin Steele.
