Iron Maiden launched their 2016 Book Of Souls world tour at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL on Wednesday, and video from opening night has surfaced.
The band opened with a double-shot of “If Eternity Should Fail” and “Speed Of Light” - two of six tracks in the 15-song set from the 2015 doulbe-album.
The group’s 16th album landed Iron Maiden a No. 4 debut on the US Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 75,000 copies.
Classic tracks like “Children Of The Damned”, “The Trooper”, “The Number Of The Beast” and “Hallowed Be Thy Name” were scattered amongst the setlist, with the show closing on “Wasted Years”, the lead single from 1986’s “Somewhere In Time.”
Iron Maiden continue the tour with shows in Tulas, OK and Las Vegas, NV this week before they embark on shows across Latin and South America starting March 1 in Monterrey, Mexico.
