Ghost delivered an acoustic performance during the Bandit Rock Awards in Stockholm, Sweden on January 19, and video from the event at the city’s Hard Rock Café has surfaced.
The group played three songs, including “Jigolo Har Megiddo” from 2013’s “Infestissumam”, “He Is” from their latest release, “Meliora”, and a cover of Roky Erickson’s "If You Have Ghosts" from their 2013 Dave Grohl-produced EP of the same name
Ghost picked up three awards at the annual event for the Swedish radio network Bandit Rock, including Best Swedish Album for “Meliora”, Best Swedish Live Act and Best Swedish Team.
Other 2016 Bandit Rock Awards winners included Iron Maiden for Best International Album with 2015’s “The Book Of Souls”, Foo Fighters for Best International Live Act, and Five Finger Death Punch for Best International Artist.
This Sunday, Ghost are in the running for their first Grammy Award for “Cirice”, the lead single from “Meliora.”
The track is a finalist in the Best Metal Performance category alongside Slipknot’s “Custer”, Lamb Of God’s “512”, “Thank You” by Sevendust and “Identity” by August Burns Red.
The 58th Annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 15 and broadcast on CBS starting at 8 p.m. ET.
