Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will kick off the Fremont Street Experience’s Rock Of Vegas concert series in Las Vegas, NV this Memorial Day weekend.
The free summer shows on the venue’s 3rd Street Stage have become one of the most popular summertime events in the city.
“We are ecstatic to have Joan Jett & The Blackhearts kick off Fremont Street Experience’s eighth summer concert series this year,” says Fremont Street Experience Director of Marketing Thomas Bruny. “Downtown Las Vegas is such an energetic place to see a live concert and offers the best values in the city.
“All the concerts and stage shows are free, plus the downtown hotel-casinos offer great deals on room rates, gambling and many food and drink specials.”
Jett will perform Saturday, May 28 at 9 p.m. on the 3rd Street Stage.

Jett and company are teaming up with Heart for series of spring Canadian concert dates in March, and the pair will regroup for a summer US tour with Cheap Trick starting in July.
