Axl Rose has issued his first public response to rumors of an impending announcement regarding a Guns N’ Roses reunion.
Rose tweeted on Friday: “The only thing I know "confirmed" is my LOVE of Taco Bell! Mmmmm.... Taco Bell!! Happy New Years!!”
Music industry magazine Billboard and other media outlets are reporting a GNR reunion will launch in the spring – with Rose and Slash confirmed so far among the players involved.
The group are reportedly set to headline the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, CA over the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24 and are in talks with promoters for a 25-date stadium tour of North America this summer.
Rose will make a guest appearance on ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live next week where it is anticipated he will discuss – or possibly officially announce – details of a reunion and tour plans.
The singer famously appeared on Kimmel's late-night show in 2012, which marked his first live interview in 20 years.
