Black Star Riders are premieirng a lyric video for “Soldierstown”, a track from their second album “The Killer Instinct.”
"'Soldierstown' is a song with a dark and poignant lyric tempered with a huge Celtic guitar riff,” says frontman Ricky Warwick. “Sometimes pulling the covers over your head is not enough."
The follow-up to the group’s 2013 debut “All Hell Breaks Loose” was recorded in Nashville last year with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, The Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Mastodon).
Black Star Riders are currently playing dates across Europe and will join Def Leppard and Whitesnake for a 10-date UK tour next month along with two headline shows of their own – December 11 at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire and December 17 at The Wulfrun in Wolverhampton.
"To say we are excited by by being part of the Whitesnake/Def Leppard bill is an understatement,” Warwick adds. “It's always great to go on tour with your friends and Black Star Riders will also have been on tour in Europe 4 weeks prior to this... So we will be well oiled and fired up for it!"
