Megadeth are premiering the track “The Threat Is Real”, as a preview to their forthcoming album “Dystopia.”
The band are issuing a special limited edition 12’’ vinyl single of the song this week as part fo Record Store Day’s Black Friday event.
The special release will feature a cover of Fear’s “Foreign Policy” as its b-side, which will be unavailable on any other format until its official release on "Dystopia."
The 12’’ will be available at all participating physical and online retailers on November 27 while “The Threat Is Real” will be available digitally.
The tune follows the new project’s lead single, “Fatal Illusion”, as the second track issued ahead of its January 22 release.
Megadeth recorded their 15th album in Nashville, TN earlier this year.
The band just wrapped up a series of UK shows and will perform a one-off show in Toluca, Mexico on December 5.
According to Dave Mustaine, the group are planning a US tour in early 2016 with dates to be announced.
