VIDEO: Foo Fighters perform Pink Floyd classic from The Wall

Foo Fighters performed the Pink Floyd classic, “In The Flesh?”, during their set at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 2.

The cover of the opening track from 1979’s “The Wall” appeared during the finale of the group’s headlining show on the first night of the event, which also saw appearances by Billy Idol, Royal Blood and Gary Clark Jr., among others.

The Foo Fighters will return to headline the second weekend of the annual Texas festival this Friday, October 9, with many of the same artists performing at both sessions.

The band are winding down a North American tour in support of 2014’s “Sonic Highways.”

Shows wrap up in Castaic, CA on October 18 and then the group will launch a 2-week European swing in Amsterdam on November 5.

The band's documentary series, “Sonic Highways”, won a pair of Emmys as part of the Creative Arts Emmys event on September 20, the day before the prime time television event.

The 8-episode project – which featured a behind the scenes look at the making of the group’s 2014 album of the same name – was honored for Outstanding Sound Editing For Nonfiction Programming (Single Or Multi-Camera) and Outstanding Sound Mixing For Nonfiction Programming (Single Or Multi-Camera).

“Sonic Highways” was also nominated for Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Informational Series.
