Roger Waters is offering a Super Deluxe Edition of his forthcoming concert film, “The Wall”, exclusively via his website.
Beyond the November 20 companion soundtrack album and the December 1 release of the film itself – the set captures Waters’ sold-out 2010-2013 “The Wall Live” tour where he delivered the first complete staging of the classic Pink Floyd concept album since 1990.
The expanded edition offers a series of extras in a triple gatefold package with unique, hand-applied graphics for each.
The Super Deluxe Edition presents 3 Blu-ray discs containing the film and bonus features, the 2CD soundtrack and 4 discs of 180 gram audiophile vinyl in red, white, clear and black with a unique engraving.
The set adds an exclusive offering of a brand new film score by Waters and a 170 page full colour hard cover book showcasing live and behind the scenes images from both the concert tour and the film.
“Roger Waters The Wall” Super Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order now via Waters website for $500 and is expected to ship in early 2016.
On October 16, Waters performed several tracks from the classic 1979 Pink Floyd double-album at Music Heals, a benefit concert for MusiCorps held at Washington, D.C.'s DAR Constitution Hall.
Waters was joined by special guests Billy Corgan, Tom Morello and members of the MusiCorps Band, made up of wounded military veterans.
