Don Henley has landed his highest US charting solo album ever with “Cass County.”
Billboard reports Henley’s fifth solo set debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 89,000 copies.
The country-inspired project also scores No. 1 slots on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Country Albums chart.
The Eagles drummer’s first release in 15 years sees him joinedby guests including Mick Jagger, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert and Merle Haggard.
Henley launched a month-long fall tour of North America in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday.
