Motley Crue performed at Brazil’s Rock In Rio on September 19 and video of the band’s full set is available.
Appearing a bill headlined by Metallica, the Crue’s 75-minute appearance opened with the title track to group’s 1987 album, “Girls, Girls, Girls”, before running through a greatest hits overview of the career.
“Thank you to all the fans at @rockinrio tonight,” tweeted bassist Nikki Sixx. “What a rush.”
Motley Crue played a pair of shows in Mexico last week ahead of their Rock In Rio appearance, and will resume the last North American leg of their farewell tour in Hidalgo, TX on October 5 as they head down the home stretch of final live appearances.
The next three months will see the band play dates in Canada, the UK, Europe and the US before wrapping up their live career with three shows in late December at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, closing things out on New Year’s Eve.
