Ghost performed an acoustic version of Roky Erickson’s "If You Have Ghosts" at HardDrive Radio studios and video from the session has surfaced.
The Swedish band covered the tune as the title track to their 2013 Dave Grohl-produced EP after it originally appeared on Erickson’s 1981 album with The Aliens, “The Evil One.”
Ghost recently launched their third album, “Meliora”, with an unplugged tour of US record stores.
The follow-up to 2013’s “Infestissumam” was produced by Klas Åhlund and mixed by Andy Wallace and sees the debut of vocalist Papa Emeritus III alongside the Nameless Ghouls.
“Meliora” delivered Ghost their first-ever US Top 10 when the album debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 8 with opening week sales of 29,000 copies.
Ghost will begin the Black To The Future North American tour at The Fillmore in Washington, DC on September 22.
