Duff McKagan was joined by Sebastian Bach for a performance of the Guns N' Roses classic, "Patience", at a private event in Los Angeles on May 28.
Written by Izzy Stradlin, the acoustic track – which originally appeared on 1989’s “G N’ R Lies” – was a Top 5 US hit for Guns N’ Roses, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
McKagan recently published his second book, “How To Be A Man (And Other Illusions).”
The book sees the bassist share wisdom he gained through his years with Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver to getting sober after a life of hard living, going on to a successful marriage and a balanced life as a musician and a father.
Bach will publish his autobiography, “18 And Life On Skid Row”, on January 19, 2016 via Harper Collins.
Billed as an “uncensored, unfiltered memoir,” the former front man for Skid Row tells the story of his life and times – from joining Kid Wikked at 14 to selling more than 20 million albums with Skid Row to building a successful solo career.
