The Rolling Stones launched their Zip Code Tour of North America with a sold-out show at Petco Park in San Diego, California on Sunday.
The 20-song concert – which opened with “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” – featured tracks from the band’s 50-year career.
A 3-tune mini-set early in the show highlighting “Sticky Fingers” opened with a guest appearance by Gary Clark Jr. on “Bitch”, before the band delivered "Moonlight Mile" and “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking.”
All three songs are featured on the June 8 (June 9 in North America) reissue of the 1971 album, which will be available on CD, 2CD, LP, 2LP, a Deluxe Edition Boxet, Super Deluxe Edition Boxset and via digital download.
The Rolling Stones played a rare club show at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on May 20 as a warm-up to the 15-city stadium tour. The club date featured what the band billed as a “one-time only set” featuring the original “Sticky Fingers” album in its entirety with additional hits.
The group’s next show is at Columbus’ Ohio Stadium on May 30.
