Eric Clapton is the featured guest for a special 2-part edition of North American rock radio series In The Studio.
The guitarist joins host Redbeard to discuss his newly-released 3-disc collection, “Forever Man.”
The 51-track set features material from 1989 forward, representing Clapton’s years with Reprise Records.
The package features three discs with one focusing on studio tunes, a second with live performances and a third compiling blues material.
“Forever Man” is available in multiple configurations, including a 3-CD, 2-CD, a vinyl 2-LP set and digital downloads, including iTunes.
The release coincides with an upcoming tour, which includes nine concert dates in celebration of Clapton’s 70th birthday on March 30.
The first two shows took place at New York's Madison Square Garden on May 1 and 2, while the guitarist will also play London's Royal Albert Hall on May 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, and 23.
Listen to Eric Clapton discuss his career and “Forever Man” on In The Studio – including part 1 and part 2.
