AC/DC bassist sells Florida mansion for $7 million



AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams has sold his riverfront Gulf Harbour mansion in Fort Myers, Florida for the full asking price of $6,995,000.

News Press reports Williams and his wife Georgeanne bought the 13,000-square-foot house five years ago from real estate tycoon Al Hoffman for $5.12 million.

The home sits on 2.5 acres and features seven full bathrooms, two half bathrooms and two guesthouses.

Williams and AC/DC recently kicked off the European leg of their Rock Or Bust world tour in Arnhem, Netherlands.

The tour marks the return of guitarist Stevie Young and drummer Chris Slade to the lineup following the retirement of founder Malcolm Young and a series of legal issues faced by longtime member Phil Rudd.

AC/DC will launch al fall stadium tour of North America August 22 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
