UK rockers The Darkness are premiering the video for their new single, “Open Fire”, from their forthcoming 4th album, “Last Of Our Kind.”
The clip was filmed on Ireland’s Valentia Island, the same place where the project was recorded.
Due June 1, the follow-up to 2012’s “Hot Cakes” was produced by guitarist Dan Hawkins.
“Last Of Our Kind” will be issued on limited edition color vinyl, CD and digital download.
The album sees the debut of drummer Emily Dolan Davies, who replaced original sticksman Ed Graham after a split last year.
This past week, the group announced the departure of Davies just a month after she made her live debut with the band.
“Sad to say our fantastic drummer Emily Dolan Davies is leaving for new projects, and so we part ways with fond farewells,” says the group. “Emily played a huge part in the recording of our new album ‘Last of Our Kind’ and makes a final appearance in the video for our single ‘Open Fire’… Good luck Emily!”
