Kid Rock’s latest album, “First Kiss”, has debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Billboard report Rock scored his eighth top 10 album with opening week sales of 146,000 units; the project also enters at No. 2 on the Top Album Sales chart with 137,000 sold.
The follow-up to 2012’s “Rebel Soul” was produced by Rock – with the exception of two songs which were co-produced by Dann Huff – and was recorded at his studio in Michigan.
Rock is heading out on a summer tour with Foreigner, with shows beginning June 24 in Hartford, CT.
He recently added two Detroit shows to the run, bringing his total of hometown dates to eight.
