AC/DC have signed a multi-year deal with Perryscope Productions and Epic Rights to develop an all-new global merchandising, licensing, retail and ecommerce programs for the band prior to the kick off of their 2015 Rock Or Bust world tour.
"AC/DC has always been the top seller of band merchandise and has an incredible archive of artwork, photos, tour logos and imagery," said Perryscope President Norman Perry and Epic Rights CEO Dell Furano in a joint statement. "AC/DC merchandise designs are some of the most famous in rock, including 'Highway To Hell', 'Back In Black', 'High Voltage' and 'For Those About To Rock', among others.
"These designs are the favorites of rock fans worldwide, and we are very excited about designing and selling great new AC/DC merchandise at their concert venues, online and at retail."
AC/DC will launch their 2015 live dates when they headline the 2015 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival on Friday April 10 and Friday April 17; the band will then kick off a European tour May 5 in Arnhem, Netherlands.
AC/DC will open a late summer/early fall tour of North America August 22 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
