Led Zeppelin: Physical Graffiti featured on In The Studio
Part 1 of the 40th anniversary of Led Zeppelin’s 1975 classic, “Physical Graffiti”, is featured on the latest edition of North American rock radio series In The Studio.
Jimmy Page joins host Redbeard to talk about the double-album, which hit No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 on its way to selling more than 8 million copies in the States alone, while topping their native UK album charts and acheieving double platinum for sales of 600,000.
This week, Led Zeppelin released an expanded version of “Physical Graffiti” as part of their ongoing reissues series.
The 3-disc set includes a bonus disc of material featuring alternate mixes of songs featured on the group’s sixth studio album.
The band recently premiered unreleased versions of the tracks “Houses Of The Holy” and “Trampled Under Foot” from the project.
Led Zeppelin launched their reissue series last year with the group’s first five albums re-released as expanded editions with bonus material.
