Rush have announced North American dates for the R40 40th anniversary tour.
The band will hit 34 cities across the continent this summer, with shows beginning May 8 in Tulsa, OK.
After 40 years together and 20 gold and platinum studio albums, Rush return to the road for their 21st tour, one which will most likely be their last major tour of this magnitude.
The tour is named after their recently-released 40th anniversary box set, “R40.”
The package includes live footage spanning all four decades of their career and presents over two hours of unreleased material, including a rare performance of entire seven-part version of their 1976 classic, “2112”.

This year, Rush will reissue 14 albums with upgraded high-definition audio.
The band are re-releasing materal from their years with Mercury Records in chronological order each month throughout 2015, starting January 27 with 1975’s “Fly By Night” and wrapping up in December with 1989’s “A Show Of Hands.”
