Upgraded, pro-shot video of Alice In Chains’ performance during halftime at the NFC Championship Game at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on January 18 has surfaced.
The band played “Man In The Box”, from their 1990 debut “Facelift”, and “Would?” from 1992’s sophomore album, “Dirt.”
“It’s an honor to be asked to take part in anything to do with the Seahawks,” said longtime fan and guitarist Jerry Cantrell before the event. “I’m always happy to show up and lend a helping hand, absolutely.”
The game saw the Seattle Seahawks rebound from a 19-7 deficit with just four minutes left in regulation time to defeat the Green Bay Packers 28-22 in overtime.
The Seahawks will defend their Super Bowl title against the New England Patriots at Super Bowl 49 in Glendale, Arizona on February 1.
