Motley Crue to perform on The Tonight Show
Motley Crue will perform on NBC-TV’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, January 22.
The group are set to resume their farewell trek next month with a 5-date Japanese tour.
Motley Crue recently revealed the date and location of their final show, starting with a Facebook post on December 31.
“Happy New Years Eve from me and the guys. It’s been one great 2014 for us and we're really grateful to all the CrueHeads who came out and saw us live. It’s crazy to think that exactly 1 year from tonight we are gonna perform our final show together.”
Singer Vince Neil shared more details about the location, saying “I hope we can have our final after-party at the Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip where we began 34 years ago if it hasn’t been torn down by then. It would be a fitting place to celebrate the beginning and the end.”
The iconic venue on the Sunset Strip was where the band got its start in 1981.
Motley Crue were named the No. 4 Rock News Artist Of The Year and delivered the No. 6 Rock News Story Of The Year as part of the 5th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards.
