Led Zeppelin premiere unreleased version of Houses Of The Holy

Led Zeppelin are premiering an unreleased version of “Houses Of The Holy” as a preview of the upcoming expanded reissue of their 1975 release, “Physical Graffiti”, due Febuary 23 (Feb. 24 in North America).

"'Houses of the Holy' is unlike anything that anyone was doing," Jimmy Page tells Rolling Stone. "It's just something that's totally of its own. I think the lyrics are brilliant on it."

As with previous reissues, the 3-disc set will include a bonus disc of material, featuring alternate mixes of songs featured on the group’s sixth studio album.

“Physical Graffiti” features Led Zeppelin standards “Kashmir”, “Trampled Under Foot” and “The Rover.”

The project hit No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 on its way to selling more than 8 million copies in the States alone, while topping their native UK album charts and acheieving double platinum for sales of 600,00.

Led Zeppelin were named the No. 2 Rock News Artist Of The Year as part of the 5th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards.
