Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain was on hand this past Saturday to perform some of the band’s classic tracks at the 5th anniversary bash for his Coral Springs, Florida restaurant, Rock N Roll Ribs.
Co-owned by McBrain and Mitch Tanne, Rock N Roll Ribs is a barbecue place that features smokey Southern cooking and features the slogan, “Where BBQ Meets Metal.”
The menu features a variety of Maiden-themed items, including Aces High Fries, Power Slave Slaw, Brave New World Potato Salad and the Appetite Of The Beast combo.
Iron Maiden recently released the final two albums from the band’s 1980’s catalogue re-released on heavyweight 180g black vinyl.
The reissues have been cut from the original analogue master tapes and packaged in identical artwork to the initial 1980’s releases.
As a bonus, the first batch of album releases are also available in a Collector’s Box sized to house all 8 albums; this package will be a strictly limited edition and available while stocks last.
In conjunction with these premium album releases, a strictly limited one-off run of the 7” singles from each respective album will be made available. These highly collectable black vinyl singles will be cut from the original analogue master tapes and released in replica artwork packaging.
Iron Maiden wrapped up their Maiden England world tour this summer, a trek that saw the band play 100 shows to more than 2 million fans in 32 countries over the course of the 2-year run, which began in June 2012 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
