Metallica performed “Sad But True” as they closed out their week-long residency on CBS-TV’s Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson Friday.
The track originally appeared on the band’s self-titled 1991 album, which went on to become Metallica’s biggest-selling release with more than 30 million copies worldwide, including 16 million in the States alone.
“And just like that, it's all over!,” posted the band. “Thanks to Craig for asking us to play his show for a whole week and thanks to all of you for watching!”
