Steven Tyler to perform at Nobel Peace Prize concert
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will be among the performers at the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Norway on December 11.
Hosted by Queen Latifah, the event will honor Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai, chosen by the Norwegian Nobel Committee for “their struggle against the oppression of children and young people, and for the right of all children to education.”
Tyler will perform alongside other artists including Bollywood sensation Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, British soul singer Laura Mvula, Norway’s Gabrielle, and the Girls Of The World for the event at the Oslo Spektrum arena.
"I am excited to bring rock 'n' roll to this incredible night, honouring some of the world's most courageous activists," said Tyler.
The 21st Nobel Peace Prize Concert will be broadcast to a global audience of up to 350 million households in 100 countries.
