AC/DC are premiering the video for the title track to their forthcoming album, “Rock Or Bust.”
Directed by David Mallett, the clip was filmed in London last month in front of diehard fans from around the world.
“[The video] was greatly, greatly helped by the fans,” explains Mallett. “And one chap – complete with an Angus outfit – flew from South America to watch AC/DC make a video for three-and-a-half hours…and then he flew home to South America.”
“Why are AC/DC fans loyal to AC/DC?”, asks Mallett. “Because AC/DC are loyal to the fans.”
Due December 2, “Rock Or Bust” was recorded this past spring at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio with producer Brendan O’Brien (Aerosmith, Pearl Jam) and engineer Mike Fraser.
The group will launch a world tour in support of the project in 2015.
