In front of 80,000 fans at ANZ Stadium, the guitarist played “Bent To Fly” from his newly-released album, “World On Fire”, before teasing parts of the Guns N’ Roses classic, “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”
Slash recently landed a US Top 10 debut with “World On Fire.”
The project entered the Billboard 200 at No. 10 last month with opening week sales of 29,000 copies.
The guitarist’s previous album, 2012’s “Apocaptic Love”, debuted at No. 4 with 38,000 sold in its first week.
