The Rolling Stones opened their delayed Australian tour Saturday at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
The fall shows were rescheduled from this past spring following the sudden passing of Mick Jagger’s longtime girlfriend, L’Wren Scott.
"I'm sorry we kept you waiting for so long," the Sydney Morning Herald reports Jagger told the estimated record crowd of 53,000.
The 19-song set opened with “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and ran through the Stones’ extensive catalogue.
The band continues the 14 On Fire tour tradition of teaming up with local artists: they were joined by the Adelaide Chamber Choir for “You Can't Always Get What You Want.”
The Stones will play 7 more dates in Asutralia before wrapping up at Mt. Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand on November 22.
