Foreigner announce Best Of Foreigner 4 live collection
Foreigner have announced a UK release date of December 5 for a new collection, “The Best Of Foreigner 4 & More.”
Recorded live the Borgata Hotel’s Music Box theatre in Atlantic City on October 3rd and 4th, 2014, the new collection features most of "Foreigner 4" as well as some of the band’s best-known hits, including "Feels Like The First Time", "Cold As Ice", "Hot Blooded" and "I Want To Know What Love Is."
“Foreigner 4” spent more weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard charts than any artist in the history of Atlantic Records, including AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, and went on to sell more than 9 million albums worldwide.
"Our music has touched a lot of people worldwide" says Foreigner founder and lead guitarist Mick Jones. "Unwittingly, we've weaved our music into the fabric of people's lives."
"The idea for this recording came from the anniversary of the release as a way to celebrate,” adds singer Kelly Hansen. “There are some tracks that were never previously performed live in this format, and it's great to be in a group with people who really 'get it' and understand how fortunate we are to be playing and performing such great material."
“The Best of Foreigner 4 & More” is available now for pre-orders via Pledge Music.
Details regarding a US release for the record will be announced soon.
Foreigner are currently playing an extensive tour of Germany.
