The Foo Fighters are premiering “Congregation”, the third track issued from their forthcoming album, “Sonic Highways.”
The song was recorded at country rocker Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Studios in Nashville.
The tune is the basis for episode three of the companion HBO series, which features guest appearances by Brown, Dolly Parton and Carrie Underwood, among others.
Due November 10, “Sonic Highways” was recorded in eight American cities – Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
The Foos are unveiling new tunes eack week in sync with their 8-part HBO series of the same name, which premiered October 17.
“Congregation” follows the project’s lead single, “Something From Nothing” (recorded in Chicago) and “The Feast And The Famine” (recorded in Washington).
