The Led Zeppelin classic, “Immigrant Song”, is featured in a newly-released trailer for the forthcoming Activision/Bungie video game, Destiny.
Daily Game reports the trailer, called “Become Legend” and directed by Joseph Kosinski, is comprised of live action and not in-game footage. The clip shows a Fireteam of Guardians on a road trip across the Solar System; their goal, as in the game, is to face humanity’s enemies, take back what’s ours and become legend.
A 90-second version of the trailer will air during the NFL kickoff on NBC Thursday night.
Destiny ships for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 9.
“Immigrant Song” was the lead single from 1970’s “Led Zeppelin III.” An expanded version of the album was released earlier this year as part of the launch of the band’s extensive reissue program, which will see all nine of the band’s studio albums reissued in chronological order, each remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page.
Up next, Led Zeppelin will reissue “Led Zeppelin IV” and “Houses Of The Holy” on October 28.
