John Mellencamp performed his new single, “Troubled Man”, on Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.
The singer also sat in with The Roots for the full show, playing some of his classic hits in and out of commercial breaks.
Mellencamp was on the show to promote his newly-released album, “Plain Spoken.”
He will launch an 80-city North American tour at the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend, Indiana on January 21.
