John Mellencamp was a featured guest on NBC’s Today Show on Friday, where the rocker performed his 1985 classic, “Small Town”, as well as his latest single, “Troubled Man.”
The singer is promoting his newly-released album, “Plain Spoken”, his first release under an unprecedented lifetime recording contract with Republic Records.
Mellencamp recently performed at Farm Aid 2014 in Raleigh, North Carolina and has announced an 80-city North American tour, beginning in January.
A portion of the ticket proceeds from the final performance held in Indianapolis at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on August 4th will be donated to the Riley Children’s Foundation, which supports Riley Hospital for Children (rileykids.org).
