The Foo Fighters are sharing a preview of a second song from their forthcoming album, “Sonic Highways.”
A short video clip posted by Twitter’s head of music, Bob Moczydlowsky, on Friday features a test pressing of the band's new album playing on a turntable.
“Holy guitars, Batman! New @foofighters record makes 'em sound 100 feet tall,” he tweeted.
The footage was also shared by the group via their social media outlets.
It’s the second clip of new Foo music from the project, following an 8-second tease featuring a classic Dave Grohl scream as he sings, “All rise!” – see it here.
Due November 10 and produced by Butch Vig, “Sonic Highways” is the band’s 8th studio album.
The project will be launched with a companion HBO series about the recording of the record.
Premiering Friday, October 17 at 11 p.m., the project will see the Foo Fighters visit, and record music at, some of the world's most iconic recording studios in 8 US cities – Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, DC.
Grohl will also conduct interviews for the series, speaking with some of the artists who have recorded at each facility.
