Slash reveals the story behind the cover artwork for his forthcoming album, “World On Fire”, in the latest edition of the new online series, “Ask Slash & Myles.”
Due September 16, the guitarist recorded the project with his touring band, Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators, and producer Michael Baskette.
Slash is currently on the road across North America with Aerosmith as part of the Let Rock Rule tour, which wraps up September 9 in Clarkston, Michigan.
A week after “World On Fire” is released, Slash will promote the project and mark the Guitar Center’s 50th anniversary with a series of three concerts in Hollywood’s most legendary clubs.
The rocker will play shows at The Troubadour (Sep 23), The Roxy (Sep 25) and The Whisky (Sep 26).
