Aerosmith accepted Motley Crue’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge onstage at the Cynthia Williams Pavilion in Houston, Texas on Monday and the band is sharing video from the event.
Guitarist Joe Perry said a portion of each ticket sold at the show would be donated to the ALS Assocation.
"We'd like to give it up for the ALS Foundation," said frontman Steven Tyler. "And we'd like to pass it onto Quentin Tarantino, Fleetwood Mac, Cheap Trick, the Dalai Lama and our road crew against Slash's."
The ALS Association is the only national non-profit organization fighting Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) – known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease – on every front. By leading the way in global research, providing assistance for people with ALS through a nationwide network of chapters, coordinating multidisciplinary care through Certified Treatment Centers of Excellence, and fostering government partnerships, The Association builds hope and enhances quality of life while aggressively searching for new treatments and a cure.
