Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is premiering his cover of the Steve Miller Band’s 1973 classic, “The Joker”, from his forthcoming album, “Space Invader.”
The title track to Miller’s 1973 album of the same name was a No. 1 US hit for the rocker.
“The Joker” is the second track issued from Ace’s project, following the lead single, “Gimme A Feelin’”.
Due August 19th in North America (August 29th in Europe), “Space Invader” is Frehley’s first new solo album in five years.
Ace will help promote the release when he sits in with The Roots on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon tonight (Tuesday).
