Last month, Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell joined Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx on his syndicated radio show, Sixx Sense, and audio of the full interview is now available.
Cornell was on hand to promote the 20th anniversary release of the band’s 1994 breakthrough album, “Superunknown.”
Propelled by the singles “Spoonman”, “Black Hole Sun”, “Fell On Black Days”, “My Wave” and “The Day I Tried To Live”, the album debuted at No. 1 in the US and went on to sell more than 9 million copies worldwide, including 5 million in the States alone.
The “Superunknown” reissue is available in two versions: a 2-CD Deluxe Edition and a 5-CD Super Deluxe Edition – check out the tracklisting for the projects here.
A 2-LP gatefold of the original 16 vinyl tracks remastered on 200-gram vinyl in a gatefold jacket will also be made available.
Soundgarden are gearing up for a summer tour of North America with Nine Inch Nails; shows start July 19 in Las Vegas.
