PHOTOS: Eddie Van Halen visits set of FX series The Bridge
Eddie Van Halen and his wife Janie visited the set of the FX series The Bridge on Tuesday, and they are sharing photos of their appearance
“Thank you to @TheBridgeFX for having us on set today,” tweeted Janie. “Arrested by Mexican police and escorted to jail.”
The couple shared the images of Eddie being handcuffed and ready to be put in the back of a police car, and another of the two sitting in a jail cell.
There’s no further details regarding the visit, so it’s unknown if Eddie may have a guest appearance coming up on the program, or if actress and stuntwoman Janie is actively involved in the production, or if either or both simply have friends involved in the series.
The Bridge kicked off season 2 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, things have been very quiet in the Van Halen camp for some time.
Earlier this year, reports indicated the band were actively working on the follow-up to 2012’s “A Different Kind Of Truth.”
A few months ago, frontman David Lee Roth revealed that he had been working on a secret Van Halen project.
“Doing some catching up here, a little bit of a scrapbook,” said the singer. “We’ve been doing a lot of travelling. [I’ve been] working on a great Van Halen project - can’t announce anything … or I’d have to come find you and swear you to secrecy.”
