Motley Crue are previewing Rascal Flatts’ version of “Kickstart My Heart” from the forthcoming album, "Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute To Motley Crue."
“I dig the energy on it,” says bassist Nikki Sixx. “It pays tribute to the original, yet I imagine when these guys play this thing live…and their crowd… they’re gonna rip it up because it sounds like them. It’s their song now.”
Due August 19, the tribute project sees a variety of country artists covering Motley Crue tracks, including performances by LeAnne Rimes, Florida Georgia Line, Darius Rucker, Gretchen Wilson and more.
Motley Crue recently kicked off their 2-year farewell tour with special guest Alice Cooper.
