Motley Crue are previewing The Mavericks’ version of “Dr. Feelgood” from the forthcoming album, "Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute To Motley Crue."
“Of all the people who did departures from the original song, I think this is the most drastic,” says Vince Neil. “I would never have thought Dr. Feelgood could be like this – with the horns, kinda like salsa – to take a rock and roll song and make it into a latin song ... latin country.”
Due August 19, the project sees a variety of country artists covering Motley Crue tracks, including performances by Rascal Fatts, LeAnne Rimes, Florida Georgia Line, Darius Rucker, Gretchen Wilson and more.
After more than three decades together, Motley Crue kicked off their farewell tour this past week.
The two-year trak, billed as “The Final Tour”, sees the band on the road with special guest Alice Cooper.
