Queen and Adam Lambert sat down with Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx for an interview prior to the band’s performance at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles on Monday.
The show was a warm-up for the band’s North American tour, which kicked off Thursday in Chicago.
“I really enjoyed watching Queen break out some of my favorite songs,” posted Sixx. “It was great to be able to sit down with them artist to artist during the pre show interview. I look forward to doing more of these for iHeart Radio Live.”
Things have come full circle for Lambert, who auditioned for American Idol five years ago by singing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You."
Queen have previously toured Europe with Lambert and the pairing played the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas last fall.
