VIDEO: Gene Simmons sings national anthem at Dodger Stadium

KISS bassist Gene Simmons teamed up with members of the USO to perform the U.S. national anthem at Dodger Stadium prior to the Los Angeles Dodgers home game against the Colorado Rockies on Monday, June 16.

Simmons and KISS are gearing up to launch a co-headlining summer tour of North America with Def Leppard; the trek starts June 23rd in West Valley City, Utah.

The band’s latest greatest hits package, “KISS 40”, recently debuted at No. 30 on the US Billboard 200.

The 40-track collection presents one song from every major album release by the group, live selections and “Reputation”, an unreleased demo from 1977.

The new Billboard entry is KISS’ 35th on the Billboard 200, moving the band into third place for the third-most charted albums among American bands, behind only the Beach Boys at 48 and the Grateful Dead at 60.
