Guns N’ Roses leader Axl Rose makes a cameo in a new World Cup soccer commercial for Budweiser.
MyGNRForum reports that seconds into the two-and-a-half-minute video, you see a familiar-looking bodyguard, who is in fact Brazil's beloved UFC legend Anderson Silva. Shortly after, a band comprised of Gary Cahill, Samuel Eto'o and Hulk — professional footballers who will be participating in the World Cup — takes to the stage and performs a "rap" version of the GNR classic "Paradise City."
Keep your eyes open for Rose, who toasts the band from the crowd.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup is taking place in Brazil from June 12 to July 13.
This past week, Axl and Guns N’ Roses wrapped up their second Las Vegas residency.
"No Trickery! An Evening Of Destruction" at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino saw the band perform a total of nine shows between May 21 and June 7.
